For new barrels, utilizing the fine hone alone enhances the factory finish to a stunning, mirror-bright appearance that is sure to satisfy customers. The procedure is simple - secure the hone in a variable-speed electric drill, apply flex hone oil to the hone, start the drill and insert the hone into the barrel from the breech end, if feasible. As the hone operates, a slurry of abrasive and oil forms, facilitating the cutting action.
