The brass head is individually hand-turned from CDA 360 brass rod, extruded in a U.S. Mill and expertly hand-polished. One end of the brass hammer features a finely crafted, high-quality Delrin tip, securely locked in place. This Delrin tip provides a softer striking surface when needed. A properly seasoned hickory handle, turned in the USA, is pressed into the finished brass head and securely pinned with brass. This hammer is both a work of art and a durable tool, designed to serve professional or hobbyist gunsmiths, woodworkers, mechanics and machinists for years of rigorous use.
