For new barrels, using the fine hone alone enhances the factory finish to a stunning, mirror-bright appearance that is sure to please customers. The process is simple - secure the hone in a variable speed electric drill, apply Flex Hone oil, start the drill and insert the hone into the barrel from the breech end, if possible. As the hone operates, a slurry of abrasive and oil forms, aiding the cutting action.
