The shank is constructed as a single piece, looped and wound, rather than two twisted pieces cut off. The nylon bore brush is designed to withstand new-generation bore cleaners that aggressively target copper and bronze-based bullet jacket fouling, which can be detrimental to bronze cleaning brushes. Our nylon brushes are resilient against these powerful cleaners and do not cause scratches that could impair accuracy.
