Features
The AR-15 lower receiver extension vise fixture is designed to prevent the buffer tube from rotating during the assembly or maintenance of an AR-15 platform. Constructed from anodized aluminum, this fixture can be securely placed in a vise, such as the Brownells bench vise. To use, insert the lower receiver onto the fixture, ensuring the buffer tube passes through the sliding tube support. Adjust the sliding tube support towards the receiver, leaving sufficient space for an armorer's wrench. The support can be easily adjusted for both mil-spec and commercial tubes using the adjustment screw located on top of the sliding tube support. Once properly adjusted and tightened, verify that the buffer is aligned and confidently secure the castle nut to the specified torque requirements.
