Features
Brownells government barrel assemblies are made by a US government contractor to meet stringent M4 barrel standards. The barrels feature a hard chrome bore over button rifling and are subjected to high-pressure testing, magnetic particle inspection and gauging to ensure no defects. These assemblies are as ready-to-install as possible, with a slip ring assembly, non-marked front sight base and handguard cap pre-installed. M4 Carbine assemblies come with a round handguard cap, while rifle length barrels feature the correct triangle cap. Crafted from 4150 chrome moly steel, the barrels are chambered in 5.56x45mm with a 1:7 twist rate, making them ideal for 62 grain and heavier bullets.
