The solid steel base features a uniquely machined relief to accommodate the recoil lug on most Mauser-type bolt action rifles. The individual, bolt-on heads are precisely machined to fit snugly around and against the receiver ring or barrel nut for each specified firearm model. This configuration supports the receiver with a steel ring, significantly increasing the gripping surface area to completely prevent twisted bolt ways or damaged receivers. This system represents the most advanced, comprehensive, professional-grade action wrench solution. It effectively prevents costly receiver damage on most popular rifle actions, including military models, as well as selected handgun models. The two-piece head fully encircles and secures onto the barrel nut, with lugs on the inner radius of both the upper and lower heads. The round configuration fits older Savage 110, 10 and Striker models with a round groove nut, while the square configuration fits newer 110, 10 and Striker models with a square groove nut.
