The second-generation Brownells 1911 magazines feature robust construction and the dependable performance associated with a century-old service firearm. The magazine body and follower are crafted from heat-treated stainless steel and include witness holes for quick round counting. The xylan exterior coating offers corrosion resistance and a smooth, friction-reducing finish. The skirted anti-tilt follower is paired with an extra-power spring. Additionally, the removable polymer base pad facilitates easy disassembly and provides drop protection during rapid magazine changes.
