This master set of punches is meticulously curated for the professional gunsmith. It includes high-quality punches, a nylon bench block, a nylon/brass hammer and a neoprene gun mat, all housed in a durable polyethylene case for convenient access and storage in the workshop. The set features four premium starter punches designed to loosen stuck or tight pins, four pin punches with hardened points that resist bending, one prick punch for marking spots prior to center punching and one center punch for initiating holes before drilling. Additionally, it includes four premium brass punches for drifting sights, driving pins or fitting parts where marking or scratching the surface could be critical to the task's success. The set also contains three nylon front-sight drift punches for adjusting the front sight without causing damage. Each steel and brass punch is individually marked for size. The solid nylon bench block, equipped with a V center, securely holds round or flat pieces. The nylon/brass hammer features a nylon head that prevents metal marring, while the solid brass head is ideal for driving punches. The neoprene gun mat is soft and flexible, protecting the gun's finish during cleaning or repair. It is perfectly sized to accommodate a handgun and small parts and can be easily cleaned with mild detergent and warm water.
