J-B Bore Bright is a micro-fine bore cleaning and finishing compound that functions as both a cleaner and a final polish, ensuring barrels remain free of fouling and perform optimally. Consistent use results in a mirror-like finish on the barrel, which helps prevent the accumulation of copper fouling that can impair accuracy, while significantly reducing the effort required for cleaning. After your standard cleaning routine, apply J-B compound, followed by J-B Bore Bright, to achieve a thoroughly clean and polished finish. At the shooting range, regular application of J-B Bore Bright between firing sessions minimizes jacket fouling, thereby maintaining consistent accuracy. As a bore cleaner, its soft, oil-paste formula liquefies during use, effectively removing fouling, copper, lead and powder residue from rifles and handguns, as well as plastic deposits from shotgun bores. Since J-B Bore Bright is completely non-embedding, it can be easily wiped from the barrel with a dry patch, ensuring it does not harm the barrel.
