This set includes eighteen exceptionally thin bits designed to fit the extra-narrow screw slots commonly found in gun shops. Exercise caution when using these bits. It is imperative that the blade completely fills the slot from side to side and edge to edge to prevent breakage on a firmly seated screw. Techniques such as using freeze spray, applying heat, using penetrating oil, tapping gently or regrinding the bit for a more precise fit can enhance the likelihood of successful operation.
