The Brownells government barrel assemblies are produced by a US government contractor for M4 barrels and are designed to meet exacting standards. Each barrel features a hard chrome bore over button rifling and undergoes rigorous high-pressure testing, magnetic particle inspection and gauging to ensure no flaws. The assemblies come ready to install, complete with a slip ring, non-marked front sight base and an appropriate handguard cap for the barrel length. M4 carbine barrels include a round handguard cap, while rifle length barrels come with a triangle cap. Made from durable 4150 chrome moly steel, the 5.56x45mm chamber and 1:7 twist rate are perfect for 62 grain and heavier projectiles. All components, including barrel extensions and front sights, are sourced from trusted US-based partners to maintain mil-spec standards.
