This comprehensive punch set includes 19 of our most popular roll pin punches, complemented by a convenient bench block, making it ideal for busy workshops or department armories. It facilitates the easy initiation, removal and installation of spring pins and roll pins in firearms without causing damage to either the pins or the firearms. The set comprises five holder punches, seven starter punches and seven standard punches, all designed to handle a wide range of tasks. Constructed from solid steel, these punches feature parallel-ground shanks and knurled handles for enhanced grip. Additionally, the set includes a non-marring nylon drift punch that prevents damage or scratches to delicate surface finishes. The machined Delrin bench block organizes and holds all punches for easy access. Holder punches are designed to cup and hold roll pins, ensuring alignment for easy starting without pinching or binding, particularly useful for small, hard-to-reach pins. The set features a 1/16 inches diameter punch notched to clear the M16/AR-15 rear sight and a 3.5mm diameter punch for securing the pin that retains the breech block on Sig handguns. Standard roll pin punches are used to complete the driving process. Starter punches initiate the removal of roll or spring pins without damaging the pins or the punch itself. Their short shafts provide greater control by allowing the user to position their hand closer to the pin, preventing bending of the longer, standard roll pin punches. Standard punches are employed to finish driving the roll or spring pin once started. Both starter and standard roll pin punches feature a specialized tip that centers within the hollow pin to prevent slippage.
