It exhibits minimal shrinkage, less than 0.1% and resists compression, crumbling or degradation under the most severe magnum or semi-automatic recoil. Fiberglass stock manufacturers utilize Steel Bed to reinforce the recoil lugs of lightweight mountain rifles, while military armorers and civilian shooters rely on it under demanding conditions without failure. Rigorous testing confirmed its superior performance, with test samples distributed to armorers, gunsmiths and competitive shooters for real-world evaluation. The mixing ratio is a straightforward 1-part resin to 1-part hardener by volume and its creamy, non-runny texture ensures it remains in place during application.
