The Maxus II Wicked Wing is a high-performance, gas-operated auto loading shotgun designed for optimal reliability and shooting comfort. It features a cerakote Burnt bronze finish on the receiver and barrel, providing superior protection compared to traditional bluing. This shotgun is engineered to perform consistently in various weather conditions, making it ideal for hunting scenarios where ducks are either approaching decoys or passing by. Since its initial release, the Maxus has been recognized as one of the most reliable autoloaders on the market. Its Power Drive gas system is meticulously tuned to enhance reliability across a wide range of ammunition types while minimizing felt recoil. The lightning trigger, known for having the fastest lock time in its class, further enhances shooting performance. The Maxus is celebrated for its ergonomic design, balanced dimensions and smooth swing, making it a preferred choice for field, marsh and range use. Building on the original's success, the Maxus II introduces additional features to enhance shooting comfort, performance and speed without compromising its renowned reliability. It includes a SoftFlex cheek piece and a 1-1/2 inches thick Inflex recoil pad to further reduce felt recoil, particularly with 3-1/2 inches magnum goose loads. The stock and forearm have been redesigned for improved comfort and feature over molded rubber panels to enhance grip in all conditions. Additionally, the stock is now adjustable, allowing for trimming up to 3/4 inches to accommodate a wider range of shooters.
