The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24, ready for use with an optional suppressor and includes a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector cap. The action is meticulously bedded and the barrel is free-floated, ensuring consistent accuracy. For those seeking enhanced magazine capacity, the Speed LR features the new Plus Magazine system. This proprietary design, with a single-stack, extended format, accommodates 5 or 6-rounds depending on the cartridge. It retains the shoulder holding feature of the X-Bolt rotary magazine and utilizes a center feed design to protect bullet tips from recoil or chamber loading damage. Easy insertion and ejection are facilitated by a convenient side-mounted release button. The redesigned action and barrel are protected by a cerakote smoked bronze finish, offering superior metal protection compared to traditional bluing or stainless steel. The Hell's Canyon McMillan SR variant features a Game Scout stock from McMillan, crafted from rugged fiberglass composite material and precision machined for a perfect fit.
