A radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap are included, with an optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake available for extra recoil reduction. The action is bedded and the barrel is free-floated for consistent accuracy, making it an excellent choice for both hunting and long-range practice. For those seeking extra magazine capacity, the Speed LR introduces the new Plus Magazine system. This proprietary single-stack, extended design holds 5 or 6-rounds, depending on the cartridge and retains the shoulder-holding feature of the X-Bolt rotary magazine. The Plus Magazine system prevents bullet tip damage under recoil or during chamber loading and features easy insertion and ejection with a side-mounted release button. The redesigned action and barrel are protected by a cerakote Smoked Bronze finish, which surpasses traditional bluing or stainless steel. The DLX trigger is a three-lever design that ensures zero creep, zero take-up and zero overtravel, preset from the factory at 3.5 lb (adjustable down to 3.0 lb). The lightweight Vari-Tech composite stock offers 3-way adjustment and features Browning OVIX camouflage for excellent concealment. It includes a thicker Inflex recoil pad and provides adjustment on par with many chassis-style stocks. Comb height and length of pull can be fine-tuned with spacers and the grip angle can be changed between sporter and vertical modules.
