With the DISSENT series, they've introduced something entirely new, now available with the 7.62x39mm cartridge in the DISSENT MK47. This series utilizes a unique compact action in tandem with a direct impingement system, eliminating the need for a buffer system. This means the DISSENT can be used with a folding or collapsible stock and the DISSENT MK47 includes CMMG's innovative folding stock. This stock offers 8 length-of-pull positions, 3 cheek height positions, 3 QD sling sockets and folds to the side for easy transport. The DISSENT's compact action and recoil system feature a forward-mounted non-reciprocating side charging handle, switchable to either the left or right side. An adjustable gas block allows users to fine-tune their rifle for different ammunition types or optimize it for use with a suppressor. This model features a 14.30 inches barrel with a pinned and welded muzzle brake, bringing the overall barrel length to 16.10 inches.
