Features
The blade was meticulously designed following Andrew Demko's extensive testing and experimentation as a Journeyman Electrician and Engineer. In crafting his own multi-purpose hand-made work knives, Demko developed a Karambit/Hawkbill hybrid blade capable of cutting rope, cable, wire and anything else his vocation required. This blade served him well through years of rigorous use and when Cold Steel tasked him with creating his own folding Karambit, this design was his immediate choice. Replicating Andrew's original blade design but crafted from premium S35VN steel, the Tiger Claw offers the tactical cutting and slashing performance of Filipino and Indonesian fighting Karambits combined with the utility and functionality of a working man's Hawkbill. Featuring the patented Demko thumb-plate, the Tiger Claw allows for fully ambidextrous, fast deployment from the pocket in either a saber grip or traditional blade-down Karambit grip. Its slim-line CNC machined G-10 handle, matte black aluminum ring and exclusive Tri-Ad locking system embody Demko's signature minimalist style. The Tri-Ad lock is designed to withstand tremendous impact forces and is almost impervious to shock, having passed some of the most rigorous torture testing in the industry.
