Features
The MTH line bullets are precision-machined from lead-free solid copper bar stock using a CNC lathe. These bullets feature a high ballistic coefficient (BC) and are designed for expansion, making them suitable for hunting across various ranges. A distinctive aspect of this bullet is the patented SealTite band, a band slightly larger than the caliber diameter encircling the bullet. This design aims to eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. Additionally, the SealTite band reduces copper fouling, a common issue with monometal bullets. Unlike traditional bullets that mushroom, these bullets fracture. Upon penetrating 1 inches - 2 inches, 3 - 4 petals break off and radiate outward from the main wound channel by approximately 2 inches - 3 inches, causing significant trauma. They are capable of expanding at velocities as low as 1600 fps.
- The specified projectile necessitates a rifling twist rate of 1 - 11 inches or greater for optimal stabilization and performance
