Features
The MTH line bullets are crafted with precision from lead-free solid copper bar stock using a CNC lathe, offering a high ballistic coefficient (BC) and designed for expansion, making them ideal for hunting at various ranges. A unique feature of these bullets is the patented SealTite band, a band slightly larger than the caliber diameter that encircles the bullet, which helps eliminate fliers by preventing gas blow-by. This design also reduces copper fouling, a common issue with monometal bullets. Unlike traditional bullets that mushroom, these bullets are designed to fracture; upon penetrating 1 inches - 2 inches, 3 - 4 petals break off and radiate outward from the main wound channel by approximately 2 inches - 3 inches, causing significant trauma. They are capable of expanding at velocities as low as 1600 fps.
- The specified projectile necessitates a rifling twist rate of 1 - 9 inches or greater velocity for optimal stabilization
