This innovative design stores energy during recoil, using it moments later to rotate and unlock the twin lugs from the barrel extension, ejecting the spent shell. The inertia system's primary advantage lies in its minimal maintenance requirements. While gas-operated shotguns often require regular cleaning of pistons and magazine tubes, our 1012 series proved capable of firing 5000-rounds during testing without any oiling or cleaning, with zero malfunctions or part failures. For typical field use, occasional cleaning and oiling suffice. Moreover, the gas-less system is finely tuned to handle a wide spectrum of shells, from light target loads to robust 3 inches magnums available today.
