Features
Since its 2019 debut, our CZ 1012 shotgun has been setting records and now, the 2nd Generation (G2) gas-less inertia powered model brings an enhanced American hunting-focused feature set. Unlike gas-operated shotguns that redirect gas for action, the 1012 series utilizes a spring within the bolt to harness recoil energy. This energy is then used to rotate and unlock the twin lugs from the barrel extension, ejecting the spent shell moments later. The inertia system offers a significant maintenance advantage, requiring far less upkeep compared to gas-operated counterparts. In our rigorous testing, CZ 1012s fired 5000-rounds without any cleaning or oiling, demonstrating exceptional durability with no parts failures or malfunctions. In typical field use, occasional cleaning and oiling suffice. Moreover, the gas-less design is finely tuned to cycle a wide range of shells, from light-recoiling target loads to powerful 3 inches magnums currently available.
