When police departments approached us for a more reliable and durable 1911 to replace their current models, we developed a specialized model tailored just for them. Now available for public purchase, the Specialist is a full-size 1911 designed for both law enforcement and home defense. Available in .45 ACP, 10mm or 9mm, it's packed with features that meet the unique needs of public servants. The Specialist features a forged stainless steel slide with an inverted top rib, incorporating a single amber tritium dot in the rear sight and a green lamp with a white target ring in the front. The frame includes an integral 1913 picatinny rail, 25 LPI front strap checkering, an undercut trigger guard and a recessed slide stop to accommodate laser grips. It's equipped with an ambidextrous thumb safety, extended magazine release and detachable magwell for enhanced operator usability. To ensure a secure grip and optimal control, the Specialist comes with G10 VZ Operator II grips that guide the hand into the beavertail and maintain a firm hold. Each Specialist pistol ships with two 8-round magazines featuring bump pads (or 10-rounds in 9mm) and is finished in Duty Black, providing exceptional durability against daily wear and tear. The Specialist is crafted to exceed expectations, offering law enforcement professionals and home defenders alike a robust and reliable firearm solution.
