A 16-inch cold hammer forged barrel with a heavier profile provides long-term durability and enhanced accuracy, making the MK12 well suited for precision-focused shooting in a more compact configuration. A Daniel Defense flash hider helps minimize muzzle flash, supporting improved visibility and control in low-light conditions.
The rifle features a 12-inch free-floated Daniel Defense quad-rail handguard that offers a rigid, stable platform for mounting lasers, lights, bipods, and vertical or angled grips. An uninterrupted top rail allows secure mounting of optics across a wide range of sizes. The MK12 is equipped with a GRIP-N-RIP charging handle for positive manipulation and a Geissele SSA two-stage trigger that delivers a clean, predictable break for precise shot placement. Ergonomics are refined with a proprietary Daniel Defense pistol grip and a six-position buttstock, both featuring soft-touch overmolding at contact points for improved comfort and control.
