Features

The ESCORT BTS Bullpup shotgun offers the advantages of the VTS series in a more compact and portable design. This 12-gauge shotgun features a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish and utilizes the same gas-piston system found in other VTS models. Its smaller dimensions and slender profile make it more agile and easier to shoulder, ideal for close-quarters situations.

The durable polymer lower receiver also serves as the forend grip, incorporating soft rubber inlays for enhanced handling. The synthetic barrel cover uses Hatsan’s patented ThermoDefend technology to absorb and dissipate heat while containing the gas operating system. A DuraDefend magazine well, lined with alloy, adds durability for extended use.

Recoil is mitigated by a soft rubber buttpad and a long recoil spring. The reversible charging handle allows for ambidextrous operation. The removable soft rubber pistol grip can be replaced with numerous aftermarket options to suit individual preferences. Included are optional flip-up sights for those who prefer not to use an optic on the 14" Picatinny rail. Additional Picatinny rails on both sides of the forend provide space for accessories.

The 12-gauge model features an 18” barrel with a fixed cylinder choke, suitable for both shot and slug ammunition. It ships with one 5-round magazine and is chambered for 2¾” and 3” shells, cycling them interchangeably without requiring any external adjustments. Like all ESCORT shotguns, the BTS Bullpup's barrel is proof-tested at the factory. The hard chrome and/or Cerakote coatings provide both aesthetic appeal and resistance to harsh conditions.
