Utilizing the same reliable gas-piston system found in the other VTS shotguns, the BTS Bullpup boasts a slender profile that enhances maneuverability. The tough polymer lower receiver doubles as the forend grip, featuring soft rubber inlays for improved handling comfort. The synthetic barrel cover incorporates Hatsan's patented ThermoDefend technology, which effectively absorbs and dissipates heat while containing the gas operating system for optimal performance. The DuraDefend magazine well, lined with alloy, enhances durability against extended use, while recoil control is expertly managed through a combination of a soft rubber buttpad and a long recoil spring.
