Key to its appeal is FN's innovative U.S. Patent No. 10/352,654 Low-Profile Optics Mounting System, enabling compatibility with over ten miniature red-dot (MRD) optics. These optics co-witness seamlessly with suppressor-height night sights and accommodate future optic releases without requiring direct slide milling. For versatility in handling, the pistol includes a slide cap with raised sight wings, protecting iron sight alignment if the pistol is dropped. The cap also features a textured ramp, facilitating easy slide manipulation against a belt loop, pant pocket or boot. The top end features FN's signature 4.50 inches cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel with a target crown and 1/2-28 threads compatible with most 9mm suppressors. A thread cap with an integrated O-ring prevents loosening during use, ensuring reliability in all conditions.
