The neck reamer is designed to work seamlessly with original, classic and power case trimmers. Made from high-grade, wear-resistant tool steel, the Forster neck reamer is crafted with standard dimensions that are ground 0.0025 inches - 0.003 inches larger than the maximum bullet diameter. Its staggered tooth design allows for smooth cutting of brass without causing chatter. Thick case necks can result in high chamber pressures and unpredictable bullet paths. The Forster neck reamer is installed in the cutter of a Forster case trimmer, taking the place of the pilot, to efficiently remove excess brass from the neck walls. Standard neck reamers are intended for use after cases have been fired with a full load and before the neck or full length sizing process.
