Crafted from durable, wear-resistant tool steel, it is manufactured to standard dimensions and ground 0.0025 inches - 0.003 inches larger than the maximum bullet diameter. The staggered tooth design ensures smooth brass cutting without chatter. Thick case necks can lead to high chamber pressures and erratic bullet paths. This neck reamer replaces the pilot in a Forster case trimmer's cutter to efficiently remove excess brass from the neck walls. It is best used after firing a full load and before neck or full length resizing.
