Forster pioneered the development of the straight-line Seater Die and it remains the best of its kind on the market. The sliding Die Chamber features a concentric bullet channel, just slightly larger than the bullet diameter, ensuring a precise, tight fit for straight-line (co-axial) seating. The hand-polished Bullet Seating Stem delivers reliable, consistent reloads, while the Seater Die is compatible with most standard reloading presses. Its non-crimping design guarantees exceptional accuracy, consistency and perfect alignment for every round. Years ago, Forster/Bonanza secured U.S. Patent #3440,923 for the innovative design of the original Bench Rest Seater Die. This patent covered the use of a specially machined, close-fitting chamber that holds the case, bullet and seating stem in perfect alignment. This unique chamber design remains the hallmark of Forster's Bench Rest Seater Dies, as it provides the premier "in-line" seater system. Unlike other systems, it supports the entire outside diameter of the sized case, not just the bullet and neck, offering unparalleled precision. Forster has continuously refined the design of the seating stems, ensuring compatibility with modern ballistic tips and very low drag (VLD) bullets. The close-fitting chamber (part #P-30), crafted with 1-piece reamers, guarantees concentricity and accuracy.
