In the Co-Ax primer seater, the tube makes contact with the flat surface of the primer housing. To ensure optimal performance, the bottom of the tube must be slightly tapered. The tube is constructed from a lightweight, soft material, allowing it to be bent, filed or trimmed with a penknife as needed. Additionally, the slot in the tube facilitates visual inspection to check for any reversed primers.
