Trump said their fine .

I have used only the AE and 197 so far ,
They all have hit the target when I pulled the trigger on my Rock.
That is what I bought it for and am very happy with that,
Some of us are not shooting for a living or such.
1600 , 2000 fps 2300 fps all sound good for me and very target I shot got dead with many holes.

Buy and shoot what you want, can find and afford and then have fun like you did before you got “educated”
just have fun and take care.

Do what

My Rock just feels better than my dagger.
The Rock (both) just worked , period AE first 400 rounds.
at 35 then 32 a box that was more than enough as I was feeding a new dagger and a BCA AR17 and testing a new suppressor with lots of subs…
I trimmed a bit under the the trigger guard on the dagger, it was rubbing hard at first on my mid finger knuckle. It lets me get a better grip now. The more I shoot the better it gets so far…

The Dagger might just become your favorite. It will break in pretty easy.

Dry fire the piss out of it preferably with snap caps.
Make sure you lube her up real good and rack it and rack it some more.
Now spend $175 and buy you 500 rounds and shoot the snoot out of it.

And you can thank me later :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. No really really.

Dude slow down and stay focused on one thing at a time. It sounds like you have a lot going on.

We all know you ordered a xcr and then lost your job and having to rent a
U-Haul to move. Shooting in 80 degree heat hyped up on caffeine wearing sweats.

No offense but we don’t need your life story in every post you make. I’m sure I’m coming off as a asehole but that’s not my intent.

If your asking questions and want the best possible answer someone can give you them just slow it down and take a deep breath.

Come in here to relax and try and put the other stuff out of your mind for a little while. We are all here for the comradery and to learn from one another. Let this forum be your break from outside.

I sincerely hope that I have not offended you in any way just trying to help
Peace be with you.

Morning sir. My personal preference is to run Glock gen 5 magazines. They are just built better and are more reliable.
None of them load easy when they are new. The spring inside is still stiff. They are both double stack magazines.
I’ll run pmags on the range because they are cheaper to buy. But I’d invest $20-25 and have a Glock mag for EDC. Imho

Yea they start to stagger on down a few.

This thread has somehow gotten off of the straight and narrow.
Has anyone noticed anything unusual about their AAC 5.7x28 ammo? I recently ordered 2 boxes to try out and immediately noticed something upon inspection. There is a pronounced flair at the neck of the cartridges. At least 5 of 50 would not go into the Sheradon gauge. Some others would not go in unless clocked a certain way. I found that even the ones that would not go into the gauge seemed to chamber in the Rock ok and without firing them they would eject ok. Also after being chambered in the Rock they went into the gauge without extra effort. I saw a Buffman short where he showed a closeup of the same ammo in his Sheradon gauge and there was no flair on the cartridge he was showing. Apparently there is a QC problem? I wonder if there is a chance that the Rock could fire slightly out of battery with one of these rounds?

So those five rounds that wouldn’t fit before fit after loading them into the rock?

Yes, after I chambered them in the Rock and ejected them without firing they easily went into the gauge as they should have in the first place. I suppose the Rock “resized” them properly as they were chambered.

It appears to me during manufacturing the ammo that they crimp the entire neck after seating the bullet. On the rounds I received possibly the crimper was positioned too far down on the neck causing that little lip to to appear.

Hopefully any stuff like this gets ironed out as they continue production.

Sooo I have put about 300ish rounds of AAC through my rock and have a couple of FTF of FTE issues. last Sunday I put 50 through a Panzer UTI12 in upper with no issues and a full mag through my rock with no issues. I see no problems with AAC.

Typically no, you do not need to gauge your factory ammo. I reload 5.7x28 myself. Since I have the Sheradon gauge on hand to check my reloads, I used it to help show the issue I saw with the AAC 5.7 ammo I received. Just wondering if anyone else saw the same thing with their AAC 5.7

Yeah, I’ve learned a lot in this thread. Too bad none of it is what 5.7 round I should use for defense

I’ll probably leave the rock at home and carry mace after this one.
