They are packin em as fast as possible. But omicron hit PSA and UPS HARD.
Cant ship if you dont get the trucks. ![]()
Ordered a lower kit on Saturday and showed up on Tuesday. Not bad ![]()
remember also, this trailer you see is just one of many they pack and fill each DAY… and when we saw it this morning it was early in the day, before 11am… so imagine how much they are shipping each day… from all of their warehouse facilities. since this one is not totally up and running yet on all the warehouse. the old warehouse is really rocking and rolling them out there too.
I’m up to 9 days now.
Is there a point where I should show even greater concern?
If I lived closer, I’d come pick it up, but 3000 miles makes it too costly.
No, 15 business days right now. Im local, and last week i ordered. The lable was printed (ready for pickup by UPS) and it sat for 3 business days. Lots of delays on the shipping side of things.
So, another 9 days, and then I get to deal with ups…
My wife and I have had nothing but trouble with ups.
1990, they told me that they required a signature for our wedding registry gifts, and then left a very expensive set of dishes at the front porch 3 months after we told them that we had moved, and no longer lived at that address. It was a year after we got married. I talked to the store where my dad bought the dishes and told them they owed him a refund and an apology.
In 1997, my mom ordered a computer for my wife and I as a gift. 3 days later, ups went on strike for several weeks.
It was ordered pn August 12th, and didn’t arrive until September 27th.
This past year, ups and FedEx apparently are competing for the worst delivery service.
I’ve bought ammo online and it has gotten lost (i thought the truck had gotten broken into, and my ammo was being used for the riots in Minnesota last year.)
It vanished from the FedEx website.
I called FedEx and the store i bought it through. Nobody had any idea what happened to it. It finally showed up several days later.
Recently, I’ve had a gun product ship from a city 8 hours east, and completely bypass my city (the city it passed through has a major ups hub), go all the way to the San Francisco bay area, and then back to my city.
Two weeks ago, my ammo order went across the country, came up to a major hub, 4 hours away. The next day it backtracked another 80 miles to the south, sat in a warehouse for a couple days and then made the trip over the mountains.
I’d like to say I’ve never seen such bad service before, but apparently they actually like bad mgmt and sending things in the opposite direction of their destination.
The USPS has apparently decided to see if they can compete with them.
Sorry. I’m unpleasantly experienced with them.
Thank you for explaining. I appreciate it.
It is bad. UPS sent my order (i live 30 min from PSA near Columbia) to Pennsylvania, then Charlotte, then Virginia, and then back to Columbia.
I ordered a handgun on 1/26/2022 and I’m literally still processing. Haven’t received any new information on shipping. If my wife didn’t purchase me a gift card to use, I would’ve just gone to my local store and paid a little extra. Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose. Any suggestions on getting a better update then the automated phone message.
Unfortunately CS is not on the forums.
I had an order shipped via UPS from PSA arrive in Colorodo, only to be shipped to Florida. Then the slow trek back…it was my Sylvan folder.
So far so good with my new driver though ![]()

Just crazy. I’ve ordered many things through PSA and never had an issue. After reviewing other threads, it seems like this is the norm right now, unfortunately. I’m trying to be patient but I’m just anxiously awaiting the newest arrival ![]()
Its hard to be patient. Most people dont realize the impact covid had here on the midlands a month ago. While it was mainly mild cases, everything here in Columbia is still about 2-3 weeks behind because of it and labor shortages which are an ongoing problem.
Totally makes sense. I’ll just continue checking daily to see if anything has changed
I ordered 2 rifles on Saturday and they will be at my FFL tomorrow. Great shipping for my first PSA experience. I’m new to the club lol
It is entertaining watching the tracking for part of my order being Drop shipped from Louisiana on Friday, 4/1, yeah i know, great omen. It left the Fed Ex hub, was sent an anticipated 4/2 delivery email, check the tracking and it was sent back to the same hub it was sent from. Tracking said Address Correction… Then updated 4/4 as the new delivery day she shortly after it said Delayed 4/5 new delivery day. Called Fed Ex, finally talked to a person and they were like, Oh it was packed on the wrong truck that first day, if it doesn’t show up on 4/5 contact us again… So will my parts be Cajun now?
It’ll go “BANG” with a Cajun accent.
From what I understand, it will depend on the USPS hub location.
South Louisiana = Cajun
New Orleans = Creole
Boosier City, Fed Ex… So…
