Why has PSA been so slow to get it out?

My last few purchases have been much slower than usual for the last few months. I order a rifle last week, and it’s still pending, doesn’t even have a label yet.

Yesterday afternoon (8th). I ordered from BCM and was notified it will be delivered on the 11th.

Wisconsin is about the same distance to Oklahoma as South Carolina.

This is not a complaint, just a curiosity. PSA used to be ‘Johnny on the spot’ , is logistics system problematic in South Carolina? When I order from a company in Utah it is very very slow.

Seriously not dumping on PSA, just curious

My money would be on volume. PSA sells a whole bunch more than BCM.

Volume and a slow down at UPS. When you deliver 7+ tractor trailer loads a day it takes a while to get all that checked into the system.

I totally get it, I work logistics for DOW (former DOD), but you think the carriers would help out the big boy businesses that keep them gainfully employed

UPS cant keep workers.

Used to be a good job.
What happened?

Placed order after midnight and got notified of shipment before noon.
Just parts nothing with a serial number.

I bought a rifle 3 weeks ago and it was at my FFL in 4 days and it was over a weekend. I’m in middle Tennessee.
