Hard work, work hard

I had this long post about the processing/shipping times, then I ran across the now hiring/pay. I wouldn’t be in a hurry either.

Welcome to the PSA community @Febol365 :us:

I feel your pain. I will admit that my last order for a PSA complete lower and a separate complete 16" mid length was over 2 years ago. Took about 2 weeks If I remember correctly. I have placed and received orders from other outlets - some shorter, some same or longer. Since Biden the Ruiner, everyone all of the sudden has been buying firearms at an incredible rate. They can’t keep up with manufacturing enough, so being able to ship all this out would be a daunting task as well.

Keep the faith. :us:

I’d like to put a lot of this in perspective just based on experience.
They’re shipping 7 truckloads a day UPS and I would imagine each is loaded around 35,000 lbs which is average full load for a dry van. Y’all realize that’s a quarter million pounds of freedom delivered every day. That stat leaves out their dedicated fleet and I don’t know quantities or whether they’re contract or in-house drivers and equipment. Likely over a third of a million pounds per day. The ■■■■■ bag rate we see here on the forum is around 7 (or less) per week. In my eyes that puts them right somewhere between 4 and 5 Sigma operationally. 6 Sigma is one defect per million opportunities for those of you who don’t know.
All that to say, I work for a Fortune 100 company, I deal with error rates daily of over 1 in a hundred and it drives me crazy. As a field tech greater than 1 in 10 boxes didn’t work right, yada, yada, yada
■■■■■ as you will, can they do better? Yes. Are they doing outstanding? Certainly!

I purchased a complete upper on the last day of the SHOT show sale, which was a Sunday, at about 11:00 p.m. I’ve been wanting to build an AR and the free shipping was enough to seal the deal. I’ll admit, beer was involved also. Anyway, I received a shipping notification & tracking info Tuesday morning and had the package on my porch Thursday afternoon! I didn’t expect it that fast, but I am not complaining. I think that the longest I have had an order processing was 5 days, well within the norm. I haven’t completed the build yet, but I’m already looking at the next one. Is this a problem? Do I need help? Keep up the good work PSA, I’m saving my pennies!

That’s so very irresponsible.

I, for one, have never purchased a firearm on a whim online at 2:36AM after knocking back 9 High Lifes. Nope. Definitely not.

thats funny… from what i hear PSA pays pretty well so IDK. Welcome aboard. hope you enjoy your stay!

I only understood half that, sounds like you got inside information or maybe work there. Crack the whip in waiting impatiently

I don’t work there. Just got to thinking about the numbers.

Welllll we’re on day 6 of processing. Some of my orders have gotten here by now, the longest wait was during the snow storm which our road was completely cut off from the world. Our hillbilly derby driving beer drinking ups man still made sure I got my package for a measly compensation of a pocket full of slim Jim’s.

Now I have to know where those kind of UPS drivers exist. Kentucky🤣

Ar-kan-sauce!!

Used to vacation at Fairfield Bay back in the 80’s and early 90’s . First thing I would do was drive to Harrison, Arkansas just this side of Missouri State line to get Arkansas bacon. Would buy a cooler full and bring home to put in freezer. Best in the whole damn world. Also, would buy smoked bacon at an old time smokehouse farther south around Pickle’s Gap, right off the shelf - didn’t need refrigeration for a whole week. Wonder if they still do it the old way there? I contemplated hard for years about moving there just for the bacon and old time smokehouses. Beautiful state, I guess that’s why y’all say the Natural State on license plate. Loved visiting towns and country side around Greer’s Ferry Lake. :us:

Whereabouts in Arkansas are you? I’m way over in West Central Georgia. Manchester, about 35 miles north of Columbus.

It is 6 actual days or 6 business days. PSA is up front about their shipping policy.

Ordered Monday. Wasn’t even a firearm, just magazines and ammo :man_shrugging:t4:

You ordered Monday so you are on Business day 4. Their policy says most orders ship within 5 business days, so you are still in the window.

Finally made it party🙌🏽
