Loving the 1991A1 …I’ve never owned or even fired one…but it’s still a must have to a Colt fan.

Hey I thought you might find some 1911 porn over here . Look around and add yours.

Ordered a set of these for my Tisas1911A1. Herrett’s brand was a recommendation from a buddy in here.

i have a spare set of the Springfield US grips myself. they are great. I put them on my Springfield USGI edition, and the spare set is used on my official 1943 Colt/remington rand slide CMP issued 1911.

When Larry Vickers refers to Herret’s " Hard Ball Grips" used by Delta Operatives of the 1980’s the Hard Scrabble version in the following Pics is what he’s speaking of. No Flash or Flare…all Business.

The Top Pic was a Hard to find set for a Hi Power… note the Light Wood Color.

The 1911A1 Rail Pistol that I modified also uses the Genuine Article… but I opened the wood grain slightly with a Brass Bristle Brush and let Oil penetrate the grain to darken them up and make them more moisture resistant…stock they are very dry.

Remington R1S made in Huntsville Alabama.
I guess Remington’s will appreciate more now.
I like the grips and color.

Good look’n Hardware Amigo.

Are you and Antonio Banderas going to free the Villa from the Cartel anytime soon?

Just leave Salma Hayak to me.

Picking…I know you like the Stainless and Brushed finish stuff. Always an attention getter in any setting

I wish Colt would build a 10mm Delta Elite Rail Gun in exactly that finish … then Ressurect the Delta Elite Match Grade AR-15 Combination Set like back in 1987 to go with it

I recall our Most Expensive Gun Shop in town having that pair in 87 one time only…it might as well have been the same price as an Apollo Moon Shot…I couldn’t afford it…but Ive never stopped wanting it.

I only saw that combination one other time at a Collectors Show…
20 years later…it wasn’t for sale.

I did eventually get the 1987 Delta Elite 10mm in the original Colt Cardboard Box. I think the price tag was around $660.00 then. The Rifle is still out of reach or it’s a crafty forgery of one…and that has been done too.

We all have dreams.
