while i prefer blued /parked guns, your colts make me envious. I do not really have many of them in my collection (brfore the boating accident) even though yours are mostly stainless i’d not kick them out of bed.

I picked up this Colt 1991A1 a few decades ago. dropped in an aftermarket matched hammer and sear, trigger, heavier recoil spring, full length guide rod, grips, and cut it for the beavertail my self. Can’t remember the names of the aftermarket makers, but it’s a slick piece. pretty sure it cost me less than 5 Benjamins back then. A friend and I were shooting in his back yard (before all the mods) and he got real mad when I punched out the X on my first shot. He didn’t want to shoot any more after his magazine.

Not real sure about this buy. Picked it up in a gas station back in the woods.

Opinions on Para Ordnance vary with Wind Speed and Wind Direction.

I’ve heard one person swear by Para Ordnance from Canada. Then the next trash them.

Para Ordnance when they relocated to North Carolina and became Para USA had mixed reviews as well. I know of at least 10 folks whom worked on the assembly line , of that 10. 4 knew one end of a weapon from the other but all agreed the Management was a disaster there.

Guns built in North Carolina were either listed as being made in Charlotte, Pineville or Matthews during those days.

Its my understanding they ultimately indeed up under the control of the Freedom Group. Then Remington , then Poof. Gone.

I have a Canadian built P14 Double Stack project that I’ll share at a later time.

I guess I’m obviously not scared of a horror story here and there.

Nice looking Pistola Jammo!

I remember seeing pictures of the Para frame with the Remington R1 slide on top some years back when Remington acquired them.

Wonder if they’ll be part of that “Battlefield” line.

My understanding is it will still be the same 1911 custom choices.

i had a para expert just like that i sold to a buddy of mine. i had never shot it couldnt tell you how she ran, but i do have a para black ops that i love.

i dont have any more sig 1911s, other than these baby faux 1911s

below, my baby sig sauer p238 (its as close to a micro 1911 sig makes)

and below those, are my sig sauer P938… the bigger brother to the 238, still technically not a 1911, but close enough for me… its a little larger than a 3x5 card but only a smidge.

and just so you know they’re not the same gun heres both together:
