What? It’s a wishlist. Why waste it on stuff I could actually own…? :stuck_out_tongue:

If I could shoot 2 miles from my back porch I’d want a 50 cal, Not a recoil operated Barrett but one of Mark Serbu’s AR’s. Other than that I’m happy as a clam. What I really want is a trainload of powder, bullets and primers.

Added a CZ, always wanted one

Added a SCAR 17, always wanted one, but my Sig 716 does extremely well.

Trying to figure out what is next for me, maybe y’all can help. I have a Glock17, Ruger PCC, Nak9, AR in 5.56, and a handful of .22s. I am lacking anything larger than 5.56, and a shotgun. Have shot plenty of .308s in my lifetime and .270s, so leaning that direction, but not sure if a bolt or AR style would be better, thoughts? Also cannot decide between 20 or 12 Guage for a shotgun. Limited by budget and looking at pig and other moderate sized hunting and three gun eventually as uses. Ammo availability is also a plus.

For shotgun, 1st of all I recommend sticking with a pump instead of a semi-automatic. If you keep it cleaned and lubed, it always goes boom. As far as gauge, it depends on what you are going to hunt. Duck/goose hunting I would recommend a 12 gauge over a 20 gauge. It sends out more shot and the extra weight of the gun doesn’t make it uncomfortable if you are hunting from a blind or boat. If you are going to be hunting grouse, pheasants, small game and doing a lot of walking, I recommend a 20 gauge. Being lighter gets more noticeable as the day goes on. I am 57 years old and still hunt with my Remington 870 20 gauge that my dad bought for me when I was 12 years old. I also have a 12 gauge that I used for duck & goose hunting but it hasn’t been shot since I stopped hunting for them 20 years ago. Now days I mainly pheasant and grouse hunt so it’s my trusty 20 gauge 870 always. The other nice thing about a 20 gauge is the ammo is cheaper and more readily available on a consistent basis (at least in my area).

As far as adding to your collection, one of our PSA AR10’s would be great. I own an 18" and am getting sub-moa.

That is one I have been looking at, still a toss up between a semiautomatic or bolt rifle in the larger caliber.

You can get a 12 gauge Rem 870 or Mossberg 500 pretty cheap. They will do anything a shotgun needs doing.

I’ll take anything that’s allowed in New Jersey.
I guess, 2 Red Ryder BB guns.
And a paintball gun.
They frown on anything that has gun powder associated with it.

@Bobnelson528 welcome to the forums. My Sis-in-law lives in Chatham. Wish she could protect herself with more than a baseball bat.

PA-5. Definitely PA-5…

And a dagger

The laws here are crazy.
They make them up by what social media says.

I’m starting to feel like I’m good on the family gun collection but there are some suppressors I’m eyeballing, such as the Griffin Bushwacker six of them specifically for the wife+4kids family bugout preps. I’ve got some personal cans on my list but I think the GBW is the most versatile silencer available today and Griffin one of the most innovative makers. The coolest currently awaiting release from ATF jail are a pair of KelTec CQB integrally suppressed Sub2Ks.

I would really like to open carry a M249 SAW Paratrooper without being judged, discriminated and scowled against. :+1:
