It don't take much to entertain me

That is a unique grill! For instance the burners run the length of the grill and not the width. Excellent work Don!

Someone made a shooting table out of a spool.

I love this table and would love to replicate it. But I have been unable to find a large spool with the depth difference that they have. All the large spools I have come across , also have a large center spindle.

Seen these on line a few different places. Good idea. You can still roll it around too. I would like to make a slightly elevated deck with a bench on top at my place. I sometimes just put a plastic folding table out, but it’s not ideal.
I have my wife’s daughter, brother and sister out here sometimes. It is kinda hard setting and making them follow range safety rules. I was setting up a target once and one of them asked if they could still shoot at another target about 20’ to my right. I said HELL NO!!! They think it’s just another source of entertainment. Sorta like owning a boat and your out in the Gulf, and they don’t think that there should only be one captain. I was responsible for all aboard, never drank a drop and had to deal with thunderstorms, 10’ waves, etc. But my rules sucked… Yeah, I always got them back safe, despite them not liking to have to follow rules. I am very reasonable and not a Tyrant, but someone has to be in charge. Yes it’s like herding cats…

Another example

That looks really good.

Thing is, you technically don’t need two seats - just spin it a little for RH/LH. But they did a good job on it.

Took me a little bit of time to get back to doing yard work like I should but I finally sprayed some of the weed killer.

This is after just a a few days and you can clearly see the difference of what was sprayed versus what was not. I have a nice sprayer that I didn’t want to risk damaging with this so I pulled out my old hand pump sprayer. I forgot why I stashed it in the corner years ago…it should have gone in dumpster. So it went from spraying with a sprayer to “spraying” by pouring it out against the fence.

That was cool to watch! Unique vise he was using

My dad found this little vintage Fairchild bench grinder in need of a new power cord. Got it to power up and replaced the bulb. Cool little piece.

My pop’s two year old Husqvarna leaf blower lost spark from the coil. Air gap from a brass feeler guage @ .06 factory. OEM replacement coil arrives. Installation and fire in the hole!

Brought my 11 yr old Husqvarna to do first time fuel lines, filter and plug.

Both are 125B blowers and happy they are in service!

Silly question on that multi-meter. Did you build that from a kit? I built one that looked remarkably similar back in the day.

Disregard, zoomed in and saw the Sears mark.

I was a hell of a lot of soldering.

“H”…I bet your thinking about Radio Shack?! I did several kits from them to include a metal detector that actually responded well!

A & P school project. I made an AM/FM radio as well. Not sure where they got the kits from but it was Pittsburgh School of Aeronautics.

Pittsburgh INSTITUTE of Aeronautics… They weren’t the PSA here.

If l may throw it out there…where does one find a brass feeler guage these days? I bought this new fresh off the truck in 1978 for my pop. Vintage Snap-On roll up, tune up case. Ford logo not OEM

Mine only drop to brass on the skinnies.
