PSA 5.7 rock compact slide stop lever cap/catch replacement?

Is there an upgrade for the plastic slide stop lever cap (catch)? I am asking because mine popped off at the range yesterday. I was able to pop it back on. However, it’s concerning that in could simply pop off so easily. I was not rapid firing. The gun is new, happened on perhaps the 8th magazine. All mags are PSA 21-23 round (2 21-rds that came with the pistol, purchased 10 23-rd mags separately).

yes but I’m too poor from buying 5.7 ammo all of the time.

Have either of you heard of the cap popping off of the slide stop before my post?

Mine did it on my sample. Contact them, and they will send you a new slide stop. Easy to install if you’re intimate with gun internals..

So, mine popped off today at the range and I figured I would check the forums to see if there was a solution. I should have know, the King of 57, Matt Buffman, had not only experienced the problem but had the solution. Thanks for posting this issue and thanks to Matt for all he does.
