Is this wear normal?
About 100 rounds into its life. CH is damaging the rail. Sled is wearing away at the upper too.
I get it … it’s a gun … but this seems wrong.
Also the CH is super loose - lots of wobble. As y’all see in my other post somehow it came out during normal use.
Have you pulled your sled and charging handle to see if there is any issues with it?

Yes. They look ok. A bit of wear on CH.
Definitely the inside of the upper has a rolled edge on the forward most 1/4 of its length.
Is that a gouge in the metal on the handle or just a grease spot? Definitely something to look into if it is a gouge in the steel.
My handle has about the same amount of wear - minus the “gouge”.
It’s much appreciated your sharing these pics and the questions. It makes me take mine apart to see and compare. Now if I could just put a coherent sentence together!..
I had to get the flashlight out to see this - if we’re looking at the same thing, it appears to narrow the track that the sled rides in, plus, there’s a nib above the sled that keeps it aligned vertically. It might have been added as a wear point (??).
Definitely have the same issue I will take some pictures and post it here later this week.

Do you see the same damage or wear?
Mine is doing this as well. Must be normal, as I have seen the same concern on other forums…
