I did too but only with the 507c red dot and 27 gtain ammom. Removed front site to litten slide and seams ok now.
I had the same problem. Found flakes if the “special coating” in the extractor cavity. If there is excess oil anywhere these flakes will find it. I use compressed air to get it out of the extractor cavity and occasionally clean the striker housing.

I don’t think this is entirely an extractor issue. The slightest downward pressure on the barrel caused out of battery for me. A suppressor compounded my issue. Maybe more spring pressure would solve this?

@kalebhoward I think you are right. A stronger recoil spring might be useful, but, might create a problem cycling some of the lighter loads . The recoil spring supplies the energy to strip the round out of the magazine and push the extractor hook over the cartridge rim. I have failure to return to battery with my reloads when the rims get rough after 4 or 5 firings. Plus with each firing and resizing more if the coating comes off. It would be nice to be able to play around with different spring strengths.
I was having the same problems and after polishing the face of the extractor it was much better. However the extractor spring seems to have too much tension. If the slide is out of battery it requires a lot of pressure on the back of the slide to get the extractor to snap over the cartridge rim. I can’t remember any pistol that had that much extractor tension.
i have the same issue with mine and it has the basic black threaded barrel and getting the exact same issues.
yes customer support is great but how bout puality control get their head in the game and get it right the first time it goes out. gets way annoying playing QC for them wasting my little freetime and energy so that they can get paid for not doing their job in QC.
I notice your post is first in 6 months about this issue you have. that would seem to me it is not a wide spread or common issue. So maybe QC is better than you think!

People just like to complain.
When I fired my Rock, I had this issue. But after some polishing on the extractor, it worked fine.
Polish the feed ramp until it’s visibly shiny that will help the rounds feed better an no restraint against the extractor. Polish the slide rails as well an be sure to lubricate them. Lightly & be sure to go back over an clean up any loose dirt or debree around the feed ramp an chamber
