I agree! I would rather a 1:8 wylde first off though, that’s the only thing holding me back from purchasing one.

Welcome Moto, it’s a great forum where most of the ribbing is just good natured sarcasm… Glad you’re here even with the name that sounds like ya prob have another just as costly habit/hobby?
I have the 12.5 308, I received a tight chamber first, that was fixed with a return (did take a bit to get back) BUT totally worth it…one of my faves. My advice get some CHUNKY buffers…tune it with those OR do what I did in the end and get the adj captured buffer from JP or Armaspec and dial it in that way…much softer shooting after that, yes the shooter can handle the recoil, but hitting that hard is damn hard on equipment, optics etc.
Shooting suppressed will make you consider a RifleSPEED adj gas block…do it you won’t hate that decision either
i love the AKV it’s my favorite because i can afford to shoot it as i agree with you x39 is overpriced so much that i finally just went 300blk lol
AAC x39 …! -please and thank you
New guy here, just got a jakl 2 days ago. If PSA came out with a 308 variant my bank account would get mad at me.
Fingers crossed!!
Welcome to the forum.
Notice he said hopefully. Still work to be done.

There’s a support group somewhere on here for such things. Welcome.
Enablers, All!
makes sense it needs to be a great round with them having the best american ak… AAC is clean, all their hornady rounds are truly impressive! 9mm xtp, 300blk red tips… something of that quality for AK that i could afford so i don’t have to hoard my pre-biden russian wolf hp lol
. 308 please!

I am partial to the PDQ ambi bolt catch.
If PSA can ship a PDQ that is the correct size to function on the Jakl, that would be great
Welcome to the forums @ashton1907 ![]()
With it needing a thinner bolt catch lever I don’t think they could do it without making their own and I don’t think the makers of the PDQ will be too happy
I saw someone discussing the modifications it takes to make a PDQ compatible with the jakl. If the jakl isn’t compatible with the PDQ, and an ambi lower for the jakl is unique or otherwise not yet patented, PSA could make their own Jakl specific PDQ.
Im not a patent lawyer, but I think that is how it works.
