You don’t actually need an ambi bolt catch for the JAKL. I finally got mine last week and it confirmed my suspicion the charging handle is close enough to the bolt catch that you can just pull back and engage the bolt catch with your thumb. It’s very easy to do.

My main hunting rifle is the very first PSA 12.5” 308 (non jakl). Its a great length for 308 and I want the jakl version.
