What mounting screws / sealing plate for Trjicon RM06 on SW2 EXTREME CARRY CUT RMR SLIDE

I need information about how to put a Trijicon RM06 onto my Dagger.

This is the Dagger I purchased
https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-dagger-compact-9mm-pistol-with-sw2-extreme-carry-cut-rmr-slide-threaded-barrel-2-tone-flat-dark-earth.html

This is the plate kit I purchased to place under the Trijicon

The plate kit appears to fit the Trijicon RM06 and the slide cutout / holes just fine.

Plate kit screws appear to be M4-0.7 and are .3905 inches long with .294 inches of thread. These screws are too wide to screw into the holes on the Dagger slide.

Screws which came with the dagger appear to be #6-32 and are .2355 inches long. These screws are too short - they don’t even go all the way through the Trijicon.

The screws which came with the Trijicon appear to be #6-32 and are .4910 inches long with .389 inches of thread. These screws fit into the Dagger slide, but when tightened down leave the trijicon loose.

What thread / length of screws do I need and where / how do I get them?

Possible solution:

Edit: Added lengths of each screw & possible solution

What screws came with the rmr? You might just have to go to a hardware store (the specialty pull out bins) and see what you can find.

Ones that don’t fit the thread / size of the holes in the Dagger.

Are you sure you need the plate? I’m not as familiar with trijicon sights, but doesnt that use the rmr pattern and not the rmrcc (which would require the plate)?

100% need the plate as the Trijicon is wider than the base of the slide.

The plate isnt going to change the width. My holoson overhangs my dagger slide, and as i understand it most optics do. Pics:

Can you post some pics of your optic and slide?

Without the plate, the electronics of the rmr are exposed.

Thats not an issue. If it was, trijicon would seal it. Its open for battery changes…

Edit: you should have an o ring around the battery and electronics that seal it up once its on your slide.

You are quite the confident fellow. The seal hangs off the side of the dagger’s slide - meaning that there is not enough surface area on the dagger to seal against.

I’m trying to viaualize it. I know the type 2 rmr06 has upgraded electronics and the seal juat for this reason according to the trijicon website. Furthermore, a quick google search shows that many companies say a seal plate is not necessarily needed.

I think @GamecockOperator uses an RMR. I also would go through the dagger picture thread and see what others are doing.

i do… i didnt have any issues with mine other than the wrong length screws… so i had to order replacements. I did so from here : RMR Replacement Screws - Primary Machine and that is what i bought. if memory serves it fixed the issues, the RMR screwed right down and all is well in the kingdom. not sure if that will help you or not, as mine is bolted down without a bottom plate on the rmr
