Conversely, models featuring HK's enhanced double action-only law enforcement modification (LEM) trigger omit external decoking controls. The HK LEM trigger system ingeniously combines the benefits of a cocked striker component for consistent trigger pull with a double action hammer system, enhancing usability and safety. It significantly reduces the risk of unintentional firing and simplifies the process in the event of an ammunition-related failure to fire. P30S models offer ambidextrous safety levers and are available in conventional double action/single action trigger mode with a serrated decoking button at the frame's rear. The extractor doubles as a loaded chamber indicator, providing tactile and visual confirmation of a loaded chamber.
