The VP9 SCS Package combines two of the most trusted names in firearms and optics: Heckler & Kock’s VP9 Pistol and Holosun’s SCS Micro Green Dot. H&K’s VP9 features the unique striker firing system with an enhanced H&K light pull trigger. The result is a trigger quality unsurpassed by any production striker fired handgun. In terms of ergonomics, the VP9 is optimized for shooter comfort and intuitive operation. Interchangeable back straps allows the VP9 to conform to any hand size, and a combination of grip texturing and finger grooves promotes optimal control over the weapon. Ambidextrous controls accommodates left and right-handed shooters, and the patented H&K supports make pulling the VP slide rearward effortless. Other features of the VP9 include an enlarged, heavy-duty extractor enhances reliability and also functions as a loaded chamber indicator.
The included Holosun SCS (Solar Charging Sight) further enhances the VP9’s already excellent performance. This innovative micro green dot attaches directly to the optics-cut in the slide of the handgun, eliminating the need for mounting plates. It features Holosun’s exclusive solar charging system which constantly charges the 20,000-hour internal battery, giving the optic a virtually unlimited battery life. Multidirectional light sensors to automatically adjust brightness allowing the user to maintain focus in changing light conditions, and an intensity override function locks the optic into a high brightness mode for 30 minutes. In addition, the SCS sits low on the slide allowing for co-witnessing with the iron sights.
