These brass guides are designed to protect the crowns of firearms that require cleaning from the muzzle. To use, attach the guide to your cleaning rod, insert your patch or brush into the barrel and then slide the guide down into the muzzle. The guide is equipped with an O-ring to prevent the brass guide cap from contacting the crown.
