Katadyn BeFree AC 1.0L Filter System is a compact, dual-stage water filtration solution engineered for both outdoor and everyday use. The system integrates a durable, double-layer soft flask with a hollow fiber EZ-Clean Membrane rated at 0.1 micron for effective removal of bacteria and protozoa. A secondary activated carbon stage reduces chemicals and improves taste and odor when required, allowing configurable filtration based on source conditions. The unit delivers a flow rate of up to 2 liters per minute, supporting rapid hydration without pumping.

The 1.0-liter reservoir is lightweight, collapsible, and designed for portability, with an integrated handle for carrying or attachment to gear. The EZ-Clean Membrane supports tool-free maintenance by shaking or swishing in water to remove debris and maintain flow performance.
